Advanced Technology
Digital X-rays
Digital x-rays do more than just save time for our staff and patients. Digital x-rays drastically reduce radiation exposure to our patients–by as much as 75%–compared to conventional film x-rays. The digital images appear on our computer screens almost instantly and can be enhanced and enlarged for the doctor to review with you.
In addition, digital radiography eliminates all together the need for x-ray processing chemicals in the office.
Intraoral Camera
An intraoral camera allows us to take pictures of your teeth and gums, allowing our patients to see, and better understand, developing dental problems and treatment options.
Infection Control
At Stadsklev Dental, rigorous infection control and universal precautions are employed to protect both our staff and patients. We maintain strict compliance with regulations set forth by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Center for Disease Control (CDC).
We maintain a safe health care environment for patients and staff through thorough disinfection of all treatment area surfaces, use of disposable and single-dose materials, and sterilization of all instruments. All reusable instruments, including dental handpieces, are sterilized in an autoclave – a process in which bacteria and viruses are killed by a combination of pressure, heat, and steam.
In addition, our office is 100% latex free.
